WHAT IS THE BIBLE ZOO?
The only Biblical-animal-only zoo in the country.
We're a small, family-run ministry — Kim and Mike Dilworth — with a red barn, a lot of hay, and a herd of animals straight out of Scripture. Kids don't just hear the stories here; they scratch a camel's neck, hold a chick, and feel the wool of a lamb. Kim, a former TV reporter, now writes children's books about the animals she cares for every morning.
Founded in 2005 and re-established in 2023, every visit is a chance for a child to meet the God who made them.

Bringing the "Zoo 2 You"
Allow us to bring the zoo to you. Tell us about your event and we will fire up the bus / mobile classroom, load up the trailers and portable fencing and bring the entire zoo to you. Bring your event to life and create lifelong memories they will NEVER forget.

Support the Bible Zoo
We invite you and your family to come visit the zoo. By becoming a "Friend of the Bible Zoo" you and your family can come to the farm and experience what you are helping to create. But that's not all...each summer we bring the Bible Zoo to local VBS's (Vacation Bible Schools) throughout the Portland area free of charge to Church's... funded entirely by supporters. Our “Friends of the Bible Zoo” program keeps the hay in the barn, gas in the bus and enables our "Animal Evangelists" to do what they do best.....reach deep into hearts of local Kids and their families to share the Gospel.
